Kalbarri National Park
A land boasting rugged terrain, dramatic deep ochre-coloured gorges, and a winding river. With its many hiking trails and lookouts, you can take in the park from many angles, including the popular trail to Natures Window where you are rewarded with magnificent riverscape views across the Murchison River.
The township of Kalbarri is 590 kilometres north of Perth, around a 6-hour drive north. All roads within Kalbarri National Park are sealed and accessible via a 2wd and a 4wd. During the months of August – October you have an extra bonus, as the park comes alive with beautiful wildflowers including carpets of white everlastings. Near the famous Nature’s Window, you can take a short walk to many of the lookouts including Z Bend, Hawks Head and Red Bluff ot explore one of the Loop Walks.
The Murchison River has created beautiful red and white banded gorges which stretch 80 kilometres towards the ocean. The National Park's newest attraction, The Kalbarri Skywalk is an accessible structure that features twin skywalks that stand 100 metres above the gorges for you to truly take in the majesty and size of these natural wonders.

The Ross Graham lookout is a picturesque picnic location and the easiest place to access the Murchison River’s edge. There is a fully accessible lookout where you can enjoy a sunset and look for wildlife including the rare black flanked rock wallabies.
The coastal cliffs of Kalbarri start at Red Bluff and extend 13 kilometres to the southern boundary of the National Park. The Birgurda (the indigenous word for small kangaroo) Trail is an 8 kilometres trail connecting the Natural Bridge with Eagle Gorge where you will find a lookout that takes in the views and look for the magnificent wedge-tailed eagles that nest in the gorge. At the southern end of the National Park you will find the Natural Bridge and Island Rock, where you can search for the migrating humback whales that come up to play.
Create your own Kalbarri Adventure Itinerary including accommodation at Kalbarri Seafront Villas, and tours with Kalbarri Canoe Safaris, Kalbarri Abseil, Kalbarri Quadbike Safaris, and Kalbarri Rock Lobster Tours and Charters to name a few.
