Turquoise Safaris & Sea Lion Charters offer an authentic offshore eco adventure specialising in smaller, more personalised groups exploring the Jurien Bay Marine Park with guaranteed sea lion encounters.
Aboard 'Sound Waves' or 'Mojo' we take you on an unforgettable Sea Lion Safari to meet the 'Puppies of the Sea' with all equipment including wet suits supplied. These unique and playful creatures will jump and somersault out of the water and entertain their visitors for hours. Hop in for a snorkel and in-water interaction or stay on the boat and watch the show.
With a skipper who has the local knowledge and respect for the area we have got you covered!

For Sea Lion Tours: Turquoise Safaris & Sea Lion Charters are operated by a local Jurien Bay family with the knowledge to ensure you experience the best the area has to offer. Your local guide Kane is a long term resident of Jurien Bay and spent most of his life in the town. He knows all the special spots throughout the area that make Jurien Bay such a great place to live and visit. At Turquoise Safaris & Sea Lion Charters we pride ourselves on providing a unique experience that caters for all ages. Join us aboard Sound Waves or Mojo and let us show you some of the Turquoise Coast's best kept secrets. Take a trip over to Essex Rocks to meet the ‘puppies of the sea’ and jump in for an optional in-water interaction. Tours run daily depending on weather conditions and leave from the Jurien Bay Boat Harbour off Harbour Drive. For Fishing Charters: Join Platinum Plus Charters on a Full Day Fishing Charter for your chance to catch the fish of a lifetime! Let our crew put you onto some of WA's most exquisite and sought-after seafood. All high quality rods and reels, bait and terminal tackle is supplied. You are welcome to bring along your own fishing gear, please let us know beforehand so we can organise space on deck. Price for a full day fishing charter is $300 per person. The minimum number of people required is 6, the maximum is 10. We supply lunch as well as cool drinks and water. Sunscreen will also be available on board. You will take home your fair share of the day’s catch and there is also a chance of fresh crayfish out of our pots which can be pulled as on optional add on to your Fishing Charter. Departure time is between 5 am and 6 am. We aim to be back by 2 pm. Please be advised that start times of Fishing Charters vary and are subject to change. We will contact you a day ahead to confirm exact time of departure. If you are concerned about motion sickness, we recommend not to consume any milk or dairy products prior to departure. Additionally, you could seek advice on taking motion sickness medication. Charters run daily depending on weather conditions and depart from the Jurien Bay Boat Harbour off Harbour Drive. Any Fishing Charters cancelled by us due to unforeseen circumstances will either be rescheduled or fully refunded.
For Sea Lion Tours: Turquoise Safaris & Sea Lion Charters reserve the right to alter or cancel tours at any time. Safety is our utmost concern but your responsibility. A medium level of fitness is required. Any tours cancelled by us due to unforeseen circumstances will either be rescheduled or fully refunded. A Cancellation Fee of 50% of the full price applies to all Sea Lion Tour cancellations received less than 48 hours before departure of the trip. No Refund in case of no show. Don't hesitate to contact us for more info. For Fishing Charters: Platinum Plus Charters reserves the right to alter or cancel tours at any time. Safety is our utmost concern but your responsibility. A medium level of fitness is required. When booking please inform us of any injuries or medical conditions. Any Charters cancelled by us due to unforeseen circumstances will either be rescheduled or fully refunded. A cancellation fee of 50% of the full price applies to all Fishing Charter cancellations received less than 7 days before departure of the trip. No Refund in case of no show.
